Membership Terms
Overview
ProGuard Services provides a preventative exterior maintenance membership program designed to reduce the likelihood of costly repairs through scheduled inspections and minor maintenance. Membership is not insurance and does not guarantee prevention of all damage.
By enrolling, members agree to the terms outlined below.
Membership Plans
ProGuard offers tiered membership options including:
Essential Care
Home Guard
Total Protection
Elite Property Care
Each tier includes specific inspection frequencies, maintenance services, and priority benefits as described on the Membership Plans page. Services vary by plan.
Scope of Services
Membership includes scheduled exterior inspections and minor preventative maintenance tasks such as:
• Caulking and sealant touch-ups
• Fastener tightening
• Minor trim resecuring
• Visual roof monitoring
• Gutter cleaning based on plan tier
Membership does not include:
• Major structural repairs
• Full roof or siding replacement
• Interior repairs
• Insurance claim handling
• Damage caused by neglect, misuse, or pre-existing structural failure
Any work outside the scope of minor preventative maintenance will be quoted separately.
Inspection Reports
After each scheduled inspection, members receive a digital photo report outlining:
• Observed conditions
• Preventative maintenance performed
• Recommended repairs, if applicable
Reports are for informational purposes and do not serve as engineering certifications.
Billing and Renewal
Membership fees are billed monthly or annually depending on the selected option. Fees are due at enrollment and renew automatically unless canceled according to the cancellation terms below.
Monthly memberships require a minimum 12-month commitment. By enrolling in a monthly plan, the member agrees to maintain the membership for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive months from the enrollment date.
Early cancellation of a monthly membership prior to the completion of the 12-month term may result in an early termination fee or payment of the remaining balance of the commitment period, as outlined in the individual service agreement.
Failure to maintain active billing may result in suspension of services.
Scheduling and Property Access
Members agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property for inspections and maintenance.
If access is restricted or unsafe conditions are present, service may be rescheduled.
Members do not need to be present during inspections unless otherwise required.
Priority Scheduling
Priority scheduling applies to active members only and is subject to weather conditions, demand, and service capacity. Emergency response priority is reserved for qualifying membership tiers.
Storm Damage and External Events
ProGuard provides post-storm inspections and documentation.
Membership does not cover repair costs resulting from severe weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen structural failure. Recommended repairs will be quoted separately.
Add-On Services
Optional services such as:
• Snow removal membership
• Detached structure coverage
• Additional gutter cleanings
• Seasonal exterior check-ups
are billed separately and may be added to an active membership.
Cancellation and Plan Changes
Members may request plan changes or cancellation in accordance with the service agreement.
If membership is canceled, scheduled services and priority benefits will end at the conclusion of the current billing period.
Specific notice requirements and minimum commitment terms, if applicable, will be outlined in the individual service agreement.
Limitation of Liability
ProGuard Services provides preventative maintenance services only. While every effort is made to identify and address small issues early, ProGuard is not liable for:
• Hidden or latent defects
• Pre-existing damage
• Structural failures
• Damages caused by extreme weather events
• Third-party contractor work
Liability is limited to the value of services provided under the active membership.
Modifications to Terms
ProGuard reserves the right to update membership terms as needed. Members will be notified of significant changes prior to renewal.
